The Most Pinned Wedding Dresses From Our Pinterest Board (I)

Hello, dear brides to be! In this post, you can check over images and description of the ten dresses (plus one) that made the most success in our Pinterest board.

1. A-Line Wedding Dress with Long Sleeves and Satin Skirt

A-Line dress, with long sleeves, natural waist and satin skirt. Sweetheart neckline. Button fastenings. The highlights of this romantic dress are the delicate sash defining the waist, and the pockets (yes, pockets), a trend that has emerged in recent years and is winning over brides hearts everywhere. It must indeed be a nice addition, being able to carry something in your pockets as you marry. A lipstick, an eyeliner... Maybe your phone, so you can take some selfies from the best angle: the bride's.

3. Princess Wedding Dress Illusion Sleeves, 3D Flower Appliques and Beadings

Above: This luxurious princess dress is simply breathtaking, and an eternal favorite in our Pinterest boards. It is a princess dress with a plunging "v" neckline, illusion sleeves, frizzed skirt and a stunning royal train! The highlights of this impressive dress are surely the 3d flower and tendrils appliques, and also the countless crystal and rosy zirconium beadings that garnish the whole dress. Another dress worth of royalty!

4. Romantic Princess Wedding Dress, with Tulle and Puffed Sleeves

Above: This dress achieves the feat of being, at the same time, romantic, delicate and stately, actually worthy of a princess. The sleeves are tulle and puffy, giving this dress something of a vintage and romantic look. If you look carefully, you can see that there are actually two pairs of sleeves, one being lace, underneath, and a second being a very light and fresh tulle over the first pair of sleeves. The neckline in "v" is also from the same tulle, with 3d flowers "creeping" over from the bodice. The skirt is covered by interspersed lines of applique flowers, laid out in radial fashion over the whole skirt length. The back is open and in "v" also, and the fastenings are of the corset type. Another important detail in this wedding dress is the impressive cathedral train. It is impossible to not fall in love with this dress, and we can totally get why this is one of the favorites in our boards.

5. Mermaid Wedding Dress, with Spaghetti Straps and Sweetheart Neckline

Above: This mermaid wedding dress, with spaghetti straps and sweetheart neckline, natural waist, illusion bodice covered in appliques, is a huge success in our Pinterest board, but, apparently, there is just this one, single image of it, on the whole internet! Who made it, what store is this from, where to buy a legit copy? It is a total mystery! We know the basics, though: it is a classical mermaid cut, very sober, with a plain skirt bordered by appliques. This dress is proof that sometimes, the basic is insuperable! If you know more about this dress, just tell us in the comments, because many brides are eager to know.

6. Crêpe Mermaid Wedding Dress with Petals Appliques

Above: This dress is another favorite in our Pinterest boards, and another great example of how the basic can be glamorous. This is a mermaid dress entirely made of crêpe, with shoulder-to-shoulder neckline, garnished with delicate and perfect tendrils and 3d petals appliques, starting from the neckline, to the whole dress, towards the ground, in a irregular fashion, creating a light and natural pattern. The waist is naturally defined by a narrow satin ribbon. The train is also impressive, lightly plaited and of cathedral length. This dress comes from a basic idea: a crepe dress with appliques, turned into an object of desire. A true celebration of  frugality, by the hands of stylist Stephanie Allin.

7. Mermaid Wedding Dress 2 in 1 with Detachable Train

Above: Gorgeous mermaid dress by Crystal Design. It is a 2 in 1 dress, meaning that the cathedral length train embracing the hips can be detached. Very convenient if you want to dance in joyful celebration after the ceremony! The plunging v neckline is partially covered by appliques studded with tiny, delicate beadings, and it almost looks like a sweetheart neckline instead. This effect, along with the tattoo effect from the sleeves, bestows weightlessness, delicacy and romanticism to the dress, being simultaneously sexy, romantic, besides glamorous. It is a great choice for those who can't seem to settle for a single style for their wedding dress, and that alone may explain the success of this dress in our Pinterest board.

The back, also of illusion lace, look totally open, with a plunging "u" backline, and fabric covered button fastenings, prolonged all the way to the matte side satin skirt, which in turn is covered by a transparent lace layer and gorgeous appliques.

9. A-Line Sleeveless Illusion Neckline Wedding Dress

10. Mermaid Wedding Dress with Detachable Cape

Above: Magnificent mermaid dress by Crystal Design, sleeveless, plunging v neckline, cathedral length train, illusion lace on the back, button fastenings; "v" backline. The highlight is the detachable tulle cape. The cape has a turtleneck and lace shoulder pads. A singular dress, able to add a touch of royalty to the sexy mermaid style.

11. Vintage Mermaid Wedding Dress

Above: Another Stella York model, this one a mermaid dress of classic design and vintage inspiration. The lace straps and the sweetheart neckline are timeless, classic elements of design, and work as a beautiful frame for the bride's face and neck. The art déco style appliques and lace over the whole dress are truly highlighted on the back, framed by the button fastenings (purely for decoration purposes, as the true fastening is a zipper) covered in fabric. This dress is a timeless piece, able to highlight the bride's beauty, as she enters the venue, and also as she leaves, because this dress is gorgeous from all angles you look! A pity this model has been discontinued, as it is still one of our brides favorites.
